Review of Natsume's Book of Friends

Lessons, lessons... Lots of lessons. Lessons you don't want to forget. Lessons about life and death. Story: Natsume Yuujinchou was that anime which I really didn't like about 8 years ago. Guess the reason? It was because I was scared of YOUKAIS. Now that I've grown up, I've realized that this anime was the best: lots of lessons to be learned, and somewhat relatable. Every episode of this series made me feel every emotion that needs to be felt. There are so many things we need to understand when we were young, yet there was no one to teach this poor Takashi Natsume. Iremember when I was a kid, I've asked so many questions, and now that I recall those memories, it felt silly and irritating. However, I'm glad that I have someone to guide me. I guess it must have been hard for Takashi to express what he's feeling because he was traumatized by how people have treated him. He was being avoided because he acts too weird. I'm glad that there were these kind foster parents who adopted him.

Art: Art is really good and unique. Soft colors were used that made the anime realistic.

Characters: I like how the characters here are slowly being developed. It's not hard to understand them like everything is explained in a way that you could easily understand them.

Music: Every music/song in this anime shouldn't be skipped. It's so calm that makes it good to watch every night. Both opening and ending themes were really catchy. Even though it makes me think about the past that I become sad, I LOVE it!

Enjoyment: I enjoy this calm anime. Every episode makes me comfortable and makes me want to watch more.

I don't care whether this anime is popular or not, but one thing I can say is that this anime is the BEST. I wish this anime would never stop because now that I've done all seasons, I'm craving for more.
