Review of Monster
Monster is what i describe as one of the most balanced show of all time. Its not too complex or too easy to understand however the amount of subjects it touches, the forshadowing is incredible. It explores how everything just begins with a experiment on exposing the monster inside human beings with a purpose to create a perfect leader. Deriving any further might cause spoilers so in simple terms it makes use of karma alot. The forshadowing part is done so greatly that it actually sends chills down your spine once a reveal happens. In a nutshell Story:9/10 Characters:10/10 This is literally the best part about the series. Johan ispotrayed as a Nameless monster but he is basically the result of all the evil that is indirectly planted in him due to ones goals, ones resentment, experiments and delusions. It shows how simple things might have changed him in his childhood but it is also true that he is a merciless killer who views others like chess pieces or ants for his expeiment. Other then that tenma is obviously the most underrated protagonist of all time. Personally I loved Johan and Dieter the most(Dieter is pretty underrated i suppose) and grimmer well he was pretty tragic tbh..I personally hated roberto alot but in the end i didnt due to a particular scene
Enjoyment 8/10
The ending is something i personally think should have been fleshed out. Other then that there are occasional plot holes and covienieces which kills the enjoyment someties ngl. Other then that its solid in this department and serves as a great learning experience
What i personally learned from it was that everyone in this world contains a monster inside and under the right circumstances it comes out in different ways. Also the point of forgiveness and How sometimes your actions cant be undone but you need to live with them no matter how Flawed you maybe. It also focuses on the fact that everyone in this world has difficult lives but what matters the most is your present. You cant let your past soil your present and much more. Man i learned so much from it i suppose that i cant really sum it up. In short if you focus this series will serve as a huge learning experience as well
Overall 8/10
