Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

The premise is amazing, so here's a good synopsis. Jinta starts tripping because he can see his childhood friend Menma. However Menma is supposed to had been dead for years, turns out Menma is a ghost. Jinta and the rest of the gang is going to fulfill a wish of Menma so she can go to heaven. With that premise you'd think the story is fairly light-earted, but it's actually a tear jerker. The characters are incredibly flawed and complex, the ending was fucking fire not gonna lie. And yes, I'm still depressed after the ending. Menma starts off as kinda annoying but she gets better as time goes on. All the charactersare amazing, I can't even choose which is my favorite.
