Review of Bakemonogatari

9/10. I loved the visuals and concept of aberrations in the story. The characters are really well built and introduced, and aren’t just hollow. They are all either extremely interesting or endlessly entertaining, or both! Character chemistry and interactions are always witty and the stories behind the characters are new and keep you on your edge. Due to the limited budget Shaft had, their quick flashing kanji and unusual animation style would pique anyone's attention, interest and deep appreciation. It really keeps the presentation fresh. I liked the whole premise and really enjoyed the show. Solid watch, good laughs, hooking character-driven plot.
