Review of Fate/Zero

I must commend Fate/zero for it's change of art style from fate/stay night to this prequel several years later. Fate/stay night's art and animation had no problems and I think the series would have been fine keeping the same style of art, however I found that in Fate/zero the fights were a lot less choppy and the action scenes moved more fluidly. I enjoyed the change into a more 3-D oriented art style present in character and background art for this show which I believe is one of it's greatest draws if you enjoyed watching fate/stay night. The story is not much different from the originalhowever but it is fun to see a more in depth recollection of the 4th grail war.

I think this show is definitely worth a watch if you enjoyed fate/stay night and this prequel even improves from the original by having better action pacing than the original did. I am a firm believer in watching series in show order not timeline order, so I recommend to anyone who is new to the fate series that they watch fate/stay night first before they delve into this show.
