Review of Sword Art Online

so i read some reviews on MAL and everyone are pretty much shitting on this anime but when i saw an anime that is 3 in popularity i thought NAH people are just being assholes there is no way this is a bad anime, first episode starts, main characters are introduced and they are playing in a virtual game called SAO but suddenly they can't logout anymore, this is actually terrifying and makes you curious what is happening, it turns out the developer of the game is behind all this and they have to finish this game to get free, so it was highly interesting soi realized people, indeed, were being jerks toward this anime because i'm not disgusted by anything.....yet.

episode two begins,
Kirito (Main Character) is explaining how things work to others so he is very knowledgeable and fearless, people in the reviews kept talking about how he is THE ultimate ladies man and i'm like Yeah he is, he is smart, he is strong and he is not a wimp why shouldn't he be the ladies man?
another sign that people misjudged this anime.

a certain girl named Asuna is left out so Kirito teams up with him, and it is not love at first sight, now i was really pissed, how could people call this "Masterpiece" pure garbage?

a couple of tragedies and then there is a subplot about a guy in lake which was totally unnecessary, OK this is not a Masterpiece now but it's still 9/10.

then there is a girl who sells swords and after a while falls for Kirito, OK this is not a haram it's ok to have a girl who loves MC, it's still OK i'm not gonna let the reviews ruin this anime for me

next episode and now there is a little kid who is abandoned so kirito and asuna adopt her and she keeps calling them mama and papa for the rest of the anime, OK Japan has low fertility rate so they are trying to encourage people to have child, it is still ok, nothing is ruined, keep breathing just like your therapist thought you, NO I'M NOT GONNA LET THE REVIEWS TO RUIN IT FOR ME

after a couple of episode there is a scene which Kirito is saying goodbye to every character (bc he is about to die) for 15 MINUTES so the audience expect him to die otherwise we would feel betrayed and lied to.

so he survives with the dumbest reason ever: LOVE

it is as of episode 15 that this anime reaches the point of no return and it begins to tear apart anything good it had to offer,
somehow he gets out of SAO but Asuna is trapped in another Game!! this is never truly explained, how the fuck did this happen?

let me summarize the second half for you:
Peter-pan is trying to save Cinderella from a cage!
the new design is disgusting, kirito grows ear like elfs, but you haven't seen shit yet, it turns out the new girl in this new game who is helping kirito is actually his little Sister, what the fuck? how did this anime become about incest?!
the only thing interesting was when the new villain is being rapey toward asuna, exactly like stuff in hentai

the second half of the show is honestly a huge pile of shit, with a crappy villain and the most uninteresting plot ever, all the potential this anime had vanished like piss in ocean

this anime did not deserve to be in 3rd place there are a lot of better anime than this
