Okinawa Prefecture To Promote Local Industry by Original Anime

According to Ryukyu Shimpo, Okinawa Prefectural Government has launched an anime-based promotion project for the local agriculture and commerce. They will produce an original anime "Shimanchu MiRiKa" by next March and develop its character goods including confectioneries, beverages and toys.
