'Gokushufudou' Announces Additional Cast

Netflix Japan announced eight additional cast members for the anime adaptation of Kousuke Oono's Gokushufudou (The Way of the Househusband) manga on Tuesday. The anime series is scheduled to premier worldwide on Netflix on April 8.

Kenjirou Tsuda (ugen no Juunin: Immortal) is starring as the protagonist Tatsu. Shizuka Itou (Shokugeki no Souma: San no Sara) and Kazuyuki Okitsu (Prison School) are playing the characters Miku and Masa, respectively.

Chiaki Kon (Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Eternal) is helming the series at J.C.Staff, and Susumu Yamakawa (Back Street Girls: Gokudolls) is credited for the series composition.

Oono began serializing the slice of life comedy manga on the Kurage Bunch website in February 2018. Shinchosha published the seventh volume last March. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in February 2019 and plans to publish the fifth volume on May 18.
