'Ultraman' Announces Supporting Cast, Motion Actors

The official website of Ultraman, the 3DCG anime adaptation of Eichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi's sci-fi action manga of the same title, revealed additional cast and motion actors on Friday. The 13-episode anime series, led by Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki at Production I.G and Sola Digital Arts, will debut worldwide on Netflix on April 1.

The anime will have a world premiere in Tokyo on March 31. This year's Winter Wonder Festival will also hold a special stage event at the Makuhari Messe convention center on February 10.

The manga is based on Tsuburaya Production's 1966 Ultraman television series, which also serves as its sequel. Shogakukan's monthly Heros magazine has been serializing the manga since 2011. The 12th compiled volume went on sale in July 2018.
