'Ojou to Banken-kun' Reveals Additional Pair of Cast

The official website of the Ojou to Banken-kun (A Girl & Her Guard Dog) television anime revealed two additional cast members and a new key visual (pictured) on Tuesday. The anime is set to air on September 28 on Tokyo MX, Yomiuri TV, and BS Asahi.
Junya Enoki (Tonikaku Kawaii) and Mai Nakahara (Clannad) are joining the cast as Mikio Tanuki and Kaori Sekiya, respectively.
Yoshihiro Takemoto (Beelzebub) is directing the television anime at Project No.9. Aya Satsuki (Mou Ippon!) is handling the series composition. Yukiko Ban (DRAMAtical Murder) is designing the characters.
Ojou to Banken-kun adapts Hatsuharu's school romance manga, which began serialization in the Bessatsu Friend magazine in December 2018. Kodansha released the eighth volume in October 2022. The manga has a cumulative 2.5 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in November 2020 and released the eighth volume digitally on March 21.
