Main Cast, Staff, Promo for 'Takopii no Genzai' Revealed
The Shounen Jump+ 10th Anniversary stage for Takopii no Genzai (Takopi's Original Sin) revealed the main cast, staff, and a promotional video on Sunday. The anime adapting Taizan 5's sci-fi psychological manga will premiere in 2025.
Voice actors Kurumi Mamiya (Tottoko Hamtarou) and Reina Ueda (Ao no Hako) are starring as Takopii and Shizuka Kuze, respectively.
Shinya Iino (Dr. Stone) is directing and handling the series composition at animation studio Enishiya. Keita Nagahara (Assault Lily: Bouquet assistant director) is designing the characters.
Taizan 5 serialized the manga on the Shounen Jump+ web magazine from December 2021 to March 2022. Shueisha published the second and final volume in April 2022. The manga has a cumulative 1.4 million copies of its volumes in circulation.
VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in February 2023 and released it as a 2-in-1 omnibus volume in November that year.
