'Tokyo Revengers: Seiya Kessen-hen' Unveils Supporting Cast, First Promo

The official website for the Tokyo Revengers television anime series revealed on Thursday additional cast, second key visual (pictured above), and the first promotional video for the second season. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2023 on MBS, TV Tokyo, AT-X, and 34 other stations.

Tomokazu Sugita (Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu) and Mikako Komatsu (Jujutsu Kaisen) are joining the cast as Taiju Shiba and Yuzuha Shiba, respectively.

Rumi Matsumoto (Saint Seiya: Saintia Shou background art) is replacing Manabu Otsuzuki (Tokyo Ghoul:re) as the art director.

Kouichi Hatsumi (Gangsta.) returns to helm the second season at LIDENFILMS. Other returning staff includes Yasuyuki Mutou (Deadman Wonderland) as series composition, Kenichi Oonuki (Golden Kamuy) and Keiko Oota (Gyakuten Saiban: Sono "Shinjitsu", Igi Ari!) as character designers, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Jujutsu Kaisen) as music composer.

The anime adapts Ken Wakui's action manga, began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Shounen Magazine from March 2017 and will end on November 16. Kodansha shipped the 29th volume on August 17, with the 30th volume scheduled to be released on November 17.

Kodansha USA began releasing the manga digitally in English in 2018. The 27th volume went on sale on October 11. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in 2021 and will release physical volumes in omnibus editions.
