'Ishura' Announces Pair of Additional Cast
The official website of the Ishura television anime announced a pair of additional cast on Wednesday. The anime series will stream worldwide, exclusively on Disney+.
Jun Fukuyama (Nanatsu no Taizai) and Akio Ootsuka (Bleach) are joining the cast as Hoshihase Ars and Seijakunaru Hargent, respectively.
Ishura adapts Keiso's action fantasy light novel, which originally began on the Kakuyomu website in June 2017, followed by Shousetsuka ni Narou the following month. Kadokawa began publishing the series with illustrations by Kureta under its Dengeki no Shin Bungei label in September 2019. The seventh volume shipped on February 17.
Meguri began drawing a manga adaptation in Monthly Shounen Magazine in March 2021. Kodansha published the second volume in December 2021.
Yen Press licensed the light novel in English in September 2021 and shipped the second volume in September 2022. The third volume is planned for a March 21 release.
