'High Card' Unveils Additional Cast
The official Twitter of the High Card television anime unveiled two additional cast members on Monday. The anime series is set to premiere on January 9 at 8:00 p.m. on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11.
Eiji Hanawa (Dragon Ball Super) and Shigeru Chiba (Overlord) are joining the cast as Lindsey Betz and Lucky Lunchman, respectively.
Junichi Wada (Sakugan) is directing the action anime at Studio Hibari. Kenichi Yamashita (Major 2nd), Kazuhiko Inukai (Baki), and Shingo Nagai (Caligula (TV)) are penning the script. Nozomi Kawano (Radiant) is designing the characters, and Ryou Takahashi (SK∞) is composing the music.
The anime is part of a mixed media project collaboration between Kadokawa, pachinko developer Sammy Corporation, and animation studio TMS Entertainment. Their project also includes a manga, drama CD, and novel.
