'Babanbabanban Vampire' Announces Additional Cast Pair
The official website of the Babanbabanban Vampire television anime revealed pair of additional cast and a second key visual (pictured) on Tuesday. The anime series adapting Hiromasa Okujima's supernatural comedy manga. The anime will air on January 11 at 11:30 p.m. on TV Asahi's new IMAnimation timeslot on 24 stations. Netflix will also stream the anime worldwide.
Voice actors Katsuyuki Konishi (Kami no Tou: Ouji no Kikan) and Akira Sekine (Tensei shitara Dainana Ouji Datta node, Kimama ni Majutsu wo Kiwamemasu) are joining the cast as Umetarou Sakamoto and Kaoru Yamaba, respectively.
Itsurou Kawasaki (Kumichou Musume to Sewagakari) is directing the anime and penning the script at Gaina. Yukiko Ban (Ojou to Banken-kun) is designing the characters and Jun Ichikawa (Julydex) (Mikakunin de Shinkoukei) is composing the music.
Okujima began serializing the manga in Bessatsu Shounen Champion magazine in October 2021. Akita Shoten released the seventh volume on March 15 and will ship the eighth volume on October 16.
