'Sakamoto Days Part 2' Reveals Additional Cast, New Promo

The official website of the Sakamoto Days television anime revealed additional cast, a new visual (pictured), and promo for Part 2 on Tuesday. The second part of the anime series adapting Yuuto Suzuki's action comedy manga began airing on July 15.

Jouichirou Kaji: Tomoaki Maeno (Dr. Stone)
Shinaya: Tatsumaru Tachibana (Kuroshitsuji: Kishuku Gakkou-hen)

Masaki Watanabe (Seikaisuru Kado) is helming the anime at TMS Entertainment. Taku Kishimoto (91 Days) is handling the series composition, and You Moriyama (Lupin the IIIrd: Jigen Daisuke no Bohyou) is designing the characters. Yuuki Hayashi (Blood Lad) is composing the music.

Suzuki began drawing the manga in Weekly Shounen Jump in November 2020. Shueisha published the 23rd volume on August 4, with the 24th volume scheduled for October 3 release.

VIZ Media licensed the manga for English release in July 2021 and published the 18th volume on August 5, with the 19th volume scheduled for a November 11 release. Shueisha began simulpublishing the manga in English on its Manga plus website in November 2020.
