'Himesama "Goumon" no Jikan desu 2nd Season' Unveils Supporting Cast Pair, Theme Songs, First Promo
The official website of the Himesama "Goumon" no Jikan desu ('Tis Time for "Torture," Princess) anime series unveiled a pair of additional cast, the theme songs, and first promotional video for the second season on Friday. The anime adapting Robinson Haruhara and Hirakei's comedy fantasy manga will premiere on January 12, 2026 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX and BS11, followed by Kansai TV, AT-X, and TV Hokkaido.
Voice actresses Yukari Tamura (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu) and Tomokazu Sugita (Sakamoto Days) are joining the cast as Ham-chan and Penta, respectively.
K-Pop group ILLIT is performing the opening theme "Sunday Morning." Voice actress Yuika (Ao no Orchestra) is performing the ending theme "Ohimesama ni wa Narenai." The opening theme is previewed in the promotional video below.
Youko Kanamori (Himesama "Goumon" no Jikan desu) is returning to direct the second season at PINE JAM, with Keiichirou Oochi (Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki no Monmon) is handling the series composition, replacing Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken). Other returning staff include character designer Toshiya Kouno (Sword Art Online: Alicization monster design), music composer Masaru Yokoyama (Mashle), and sound director Jin Aketagawa (Undead Unluck).
Haruhara (Senyuu.) and Hirakei began the manga on the Shounen Jump+ web magazine in April 2019 and ended it on August 19 this year. Shueisha released the 18th volume on November 4, with the 19th and final volume scheduled to be released on January 5, 2026. The company also publishes the manga on its Manga Plus platform in English.
