Third Season of 'Shuumatsu no Walküre' Reveals Additional Cast, Second Promo

The official website for the Shuumatsu no Walküre (Record of Ragnarok) anime revealed additional cast and the second promotional video for the third season on Friday. The anime will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix, beginning in December 2025.

Voice actress Saori Hayami (RWBY: Hyousetsu Teikoku) is performing the ending theme “Last breath, Last record” which is previewed in the promotional video below.

Kouichi Hatsumi (Tokyo Revengers) is directing the anime at Yumeta Company and Maru Animation. Yasuyuki Mutou (Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Youko Tanabe (Benriya Saitou-san, Isekai ni Iku) and Hisashi Kawashima (Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream) are designing the characters. Yasuharu Takanashi (Fairy Tail) is composing the music.

Shuumatsu no Walküre adapts Shinya Umemura, Takumi Fukui, and illustrator Ajichika's dark fantasy battle action manga, which began in Monthly Comic Zenon in November 2017. Coamix published the 25th volume on July 18. The manga has a cumulative 18 million copies of its volumes in print.

VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in June 2021 and released the 15th volume on July 15. The 16th volume is planned for an October 21 release. The company also licensed the first anime season in North America and released it on home video in April 2023.
