'Nyaight of the Living Cat' Unveils Main Cast, Second Teaser Promo for Summer 2025

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Hawkman and Mecha-roots's Nyaight of the Living Cat (Night of the Living Cat) manga revealed the main cast and a second teaser promo on Saturday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2025 on TV Tokyo, BS TV Tokyo, and other stations.

Kaoru: Reina Ueda (Ao no Hako)
Arata: Reiji Kawashima (Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen)
Tsutsumi: Yuu Serizawa (Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijou.)
Len: Subaru Kimura (Jujutsu Kaisen)
Masaki: Yoshiki Nakajima (Hinamatsuri)
Tanishi: Hiroki Yasumoto (One Punch Man)
Gaku: Ryouta Takeuchi (Mahoutsukai no Yome)

Tomohiro Kamitani (Mix: Meisei Story 2nd Season - Nidome no Natsu, Sora no Mukou e) helms the anime with chief director Takashi Miike (Koroshiya 1 live-action director) at OLM. Shingo Irie (Chi. Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite) is handling the series composition and Takao Maki (Donten ni Warau) is designing the characters. Kouji Endou (Onimusha) is composing the music.

Hawkman and Mecha-roots began serializing the action horror manga in Comic Garden magazine in October 2020. Mag Garden shipped the sixth volume on February 21.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in October 2022 and released the fifth volume on October 22.
