'Egao no Taenai Shokuba desu.' Reveals Additional Cast, Theme Songs, First Promo
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Kuzushiro's Egao no Taenai Shokuba desu. (A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace) manga revealed additional cast, theme songs, a key visual (pictured), and promotional video on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2025.

The opening theme, "Zettai Shousan!" is being performed by music group HoneyWorks feat. HaKoniwalily (Danjo no Yuujou wa Seiritsu suru? (Iya, Shinai!!)). Sizuk is performing the ending theme, "Thankful."
Kaoru Suzuki (Doukyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki, Atama no Ue.) is helming the anime at Voil. Mio Inoue (Slow Start) is handling the series composition, and Kana Miyai (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto sub-character design) is designing the characters. Kei Haneoka (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen) and Hironori Doi are composing the music.
Kuzushiro (Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san) originally published the comedy slice of life manga as a one-shot in Kiss in February 2019 and began regular serialization on the Comic Days app and website in May that year. Kodansha shipped the 12th volume on April 18.
