'Saikyou no Ousama, Nidome no Jinsei wa Nani wo Suru?' Gets Second Season in 2026

Streaming platform Crunchyroll announced a second season for the Saikyou no Ousama, Nidome no Jinsei wa Nani wo Suru? (The Beginning After the End) television anime following the broadcast of the 11th episode on Wednesday. The second season is scheduled to premiere next Spring.

Produced by Studio A-CAT, the first season began airing for 12 episodes on April 2. Crunchyroll is simulcasting the anime with subtitles and dubs in multiple languages.

The anime adapts TurtleMe's fantasy webtoon, which was based on the 2017 web novel and began on Tapas in July 2018, featuring illustrations by Fuyuki23. Beginning the sixth season of the webtoon in June 2023, Rise Entertainment took over the artwork. The webtoon has been published in Japan by Piccoma since 2020.

Yen Press licensed the webtoon in English in 2021 and released the sixth volume on August 20. The seventh volume release on March 25, with the eighth volume scheduled to go on sale on July 22.
