'Bokura no Yoake' Announces Supporting Cast

The official website of the anime movie adaptation of Tetsuya Imai's Bokura no Yoake (Break of Dawn) manga revealed on Monday three additional cast. The movie will premiere in Japanese theaters in October 2022.

Haruka Sawatari: Kana Hanazawa (Akebi-chan no Sailor-fuku)
Ryo Sawatari: Yoshimasa Hosoya (Kumichou Musume to Sewagakari)
Yoshitatsu Kawai: Kenjirou Tsuda (Hoshi no Samidare)

Tomoyuki Kurokawa (Murder Princess) is helming the anime at studio Zero-G. Dai Satou (Cider no You ni Kotoba ga Wakiagaru) is in charge of the screenplay, and Takahiko Yoshida (Hataraku Saibou (TV)) will be the chief animation director and character designer.

Imai serialized the sci-fi drama manga in Afternoon magazine for 10 chapters from January to October 2011. Kodansha released the second and last volume in November 2011. Kodansha USA has licensed the manga in English on July 23.
