According to the official website, an anime series of "Love Live!" School Idol Project" was announced to be released in 2013.

Nine characters of Love Live
Love Live! is a joint project of Sunrise, Lantis, and Dengeki G's magazine launched in 2010. Seven single CDs and three album CDs of the idol unit have been released.
Story:
Otonokizaka High School has been in danger of closure due to the decrease of the new students. Nine high school girls come up with an idea to save their school: they become idols and invite students by promoting the school.
