'Tenchi Muyou! Ryououki' Fifth Season Reveals Additional Supporting Cast

The official website for the Tenchi Muyou! Ryououki original video animation (OVA) series announced additional supporting cast for the fifth season. While the initial reveal and ensuing staff and cast announcements confirmed reprising roles, the new characters will make their first appearances in the anime series starting in the second volume, which is scheduled for release on May 29. The fifth season's first blu-ray volume was released on February 28.

Tenchi Muyou! is a long-running anime, light novel, and manga franchise that began with a six-episode OVA in September 1992. It has since spawned numerous sequels, spin-offs, and adaptations. In November 2016, the fourth season ended a drought of over 11 years for the main OVA series.
