The official website for Digital Network Animation's original film, Kimi wa Kanata, announced two new cast members on Thursday. The film is scheduled to be released in Japan on November 27.
Honoka Matsumoto (You to Bakemono ni Naru Chichi ga Tsurai live-action drama) and Toshiki Seto (Signal 100 live-action film) are starring as Mio and Arata, respectively.
Kimi wa Kanata is being directed by Yoshinobu Sena (Vampire Holmes). The film marks Toshiki Seto's voice acting debut and the first feature-length anime film by Sena.
The film is the first major project by Digital Network Animation, which was founded in 2006 and mainly served as a subcontractor for animation studios such as Shaft, TMS Entertainment, and Studio Deen. To coincide with the film's release, Kadokawa is also publishing a novel.
