'Kanojo mo Kanojo' Season 2 Reveals New Staff, Additional Cast, Fall 2023 Premiere

The Kanojo mo Kanojo (Girlfriend, Girlfriend) special stage at the NBCUniversal Entertainment booth at AnimeJapan 2023 announced new staff, an additional cast, and October 2023 premiere for the second season on Saturday.

Voice actress Aoi Koga (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai) is joining the cast as Risa Hochizaki.

Hiroyuki began drawing the romantic comedy manga in Weekly Shounen Magazine in March 2020. Kodansha shipped the 14th volume on February 17.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English for digital release in February 2021. The 12th volume went on sale on February 14, with the 13th volume scheduled to release on April 11.
