'Kakkou no Iinazuke' Announces Additional Staff, Ending Theme Artist

The official website of the Kakkou no Iinazuke (A Couple of Cuckoos) anime series revealed additional staff, the ending theme artist, and a second main promo on Thursday. The television anime adapting Miki Yoshikawa's romantic comedy manga will begin airing on April 24 at 1:30 a.m. on TV Asahi and its 24 affiliate stations' NUMAnimation programming block.

Sangatsu no Phantasia (Demi-chan wa Kataritai) is performing the ending theme "Shikaku Unmei," which in previewed in the promotional video below.
Yoshiyuki Shirahata (Great Pretender episode director) is helming the anime at Shin-Ei Animation and SynergySP, with chief director Hiroaki Akagi (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san). Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen) is handling the series composition and Aya Takano (Himouto! Umaru-chan) is designing the characters.
Yoshikawa originally published Kakkou no Iinazuke as a one-shot in Weekly Shounen Magazine in September 2019, approximately 2.5 years after ending Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo (Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches). The magazine began serializing the manga the following January. Kodansha published the 11th volume on Thursday.
