'Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni' Unveils Additional Cast

The official website of the anime movie adaptation of Nao Iwamoto's Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni (Gold Kingdom and Water Kingdom) manga revealed seven additional cast on Monday. The movie will premiere in Japanese theaters on January 27, 2023.

Kotono Watanabe (Btooom!) is helming the movie at Madhouse. Fumi Tsubota (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) is penning the script, and Mitsuyuki Masuhara (Diamond no Ace director) is the animation supervisor.

Iwamoto serialized the josei romance manga in Monthly Flowers magazine from October 2014 to April 2016. Shogakukan published it in a single volume in July that year.
