'Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu' Spin-off Manga 'Twi-Yaba' Gets Anime

The official website for the Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu (The Dangers in My Heart) television anime announced on Wednesday that the spin-off manga Twi-Yaba is receiving an anime. The anime will have an advanced screening at the Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu Fan Festa 2023 - Karte 12.5 Bokura wa Shibuya no Tsumatta event on December 10.

Norio Sakurai began drawing the spin-off manga on their X account (formerly Twitter) in September 2019. The chapters have since been collected into two volumes.

Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu adapts Sakurai's slice of life manga, which began in Weekly Shounen Champion in March 2018. The manga switched to Champion Cross the following month, and then to Manga Cross in July that year. Akita Shoten published the eighth volume on March 8 and will release the ninth volume on November 8.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in December 2020 and released the seventh volume on October 3. The eighth volume is set to ship on April 23.

Shin-Ei Animation produced the first season in Spring 2023. HIDIVE streamed the series with English subtitles and dub. A second season is scheduled to premiere in January 2024.
