Madhouse Produces 'Trillion Game' TV Anime, Lead Cast Announced
The official website for the Trillion Game television anime series revealed the main cast, studio, and a teaser visual (pictured) on Tuesday. The anime is scheduled to broadcast on TBS and other channels.
Takeo Ootsuka ("Oshi no Ko") and Shouya Ishige (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru) are starring as Haru Tennouji and Manabu Taira, respectively. Madhouse is producing the anime.
The anime adapts Riichiro Inagaki and Ryouichi Ikegami's seinen drama manga which began serializing in Big Comic Superior in December 2020. Shogakukan published the seventh volume on July 12 and will release the eighth volume on November 30.
A television drama adaptation produced by TBS debuted on July 14 and ended on September 23. The drama stars idol group Snow Man's Ren Meguro as Haru Tennouji and actor Hayato Sano as Manabu "Gaku" Taira. The drama series began developing original content from episode eight onward, having adapted all available chapters. The series began streaming worldwide on Netflix on October 7.
