'Suicide Squad Isekai' Reveals Main Cast, Teaser Promo

The official website for the Suicide Squad Isekai anime revealed the main cast, opening theme, multiple visuals (main visual pictured above), and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2024.

Singer-songwriter and composer Tomoyasu Hotei (Zoids Shinseiki/Zero opening theme composition) performs the opening theme "Another World," which is previewed in the promotional video below.

Eri Osada (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 4: Diamond wa Kudakenai episode director) is directing the anime at Wit Studio. Tappei Nagatsuki (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu) and Eiji Umehara (Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song) are penning the script. Naoto Hosoda (Seiren) is adapting the original character design from Akira Amano (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!). Kenichiro Suehiro (Golden Kamuy) is composing the music.

Synopsis
In the crime-ridden city of Gotham, Amanda Waller, the head of A.R.G.U.S., has assembled a group of notorious criminals for a mission: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark. These Super-Villains are sent into an otherworldly realm that's connected to this world through a gate. It's a world of swords and magic where orcs rampage and dragons rule the skies—an "ISEKAI"!
