Third Film of 'Cencoroll' in Production

During the opening premiere of Cencoroll Connect on Saturday, Director Atsuya Uki announced that a third film for his Cencoroll series is in production and unveiled a teaser image (pictured).

Uki commented that Cencoroll 3 will be the final movie in terms of Tetsu and Yuki's story. While a premiere date hasn't been set, Uki vowed to finish the film as soon as possible to avoid another long wait between films.

The first Cencoroll premiered in 2009 and a sequel was announced originally scheduled for Summer 2014. Cencoroll Connect is a revamped version of the indefinitely delayed second film and ties in the events from the first film.

Aniplex of America will screen Cencoroll Connect at this year's Anime Expo on July 4.
