'Thermae Romae Novae' Reveals Supporting Cast
Netflix Japan revealed on Wednesday nine supporting cast and a character promotional video for the new anime adaptation of Mari Yamazaki's Thermae Romae manga. The anime is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Netflix on March 28.

Livia: Sanae Kobayashi (Baccano!)
Marcus: Chikahiro Kobayashi (Golden Kamuy)
Regulus: Satoshi Hino (Fantasy Bishoujo Juniku Ojisan to)
Emperor Hadrian: Tsutomu Isobe (Black Lagoon)
Mami Yamaguchi: Asami Seto (Chihayafuru)
Kuniyoshi Utagawa: Shuuichi Ikeda (Mobile Suit Gundam)
Yoshida: Takahiro Sakurai (Osomatsu-san)
Ceionius: Yoshimasa Hosoya (Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan)
Markus Annius Verus: Junya Enoki (Kanojo mo Kanojo)
The cast joins Kenjirou Tsuda (Gokushufudou) who's playing the main character Lucius Modestus.
Tetsuya Tatamitani (Africa no Salaryman) is helming the series at animation studio NAZ and Yuuichirou Momose (Magatsu Wahrheit: Zuerst) is penning the script.
Yamazaki serialized the historical comedy manga in Comic Beam from January 2008 until March 2013. Enterbrain published the manga in six volumes between November 2009 and June 2013. Yen Press licensed the manga in English in April 2012 and published it in two-in-one hardcover omnibuses from November 2012 to February 2014.
DLE produced a short television anime in collaboration with Gonzo which aired in Winter 2012.
