Kadokawa, TMS Entertainment, Sammy Announce 'High Card' Multimedia Project

Kadokawa opened an official website for a new multimedia project titled High Card on Wednesday. The project is a collaboration between Kadokawa, pachinko developer Sammy Corporation, and animation studio TMS Entertainment, which will include an anime, manga, and novel. The title is in reference to a combination of five cards in poker with no value, the so-called "no pair."

Kakegurui manga author Homura Kawamoto and Hikaru Muno (Kakegurui light novel) are credited as the original creator. Illustrator Ebimo will be in charge of the character designs.
