'Hanma Baki: Son of Ogre 2nd Season' Unveils Additional Cast, Second Promo for Second Cour
The official website of the Baki anime series revealed three additional cast and a promotional video for the second half of Hanma Baki: Son of Ogre's second season on Thursday. The first part released worldwide on Netflix on July 26, while the second cour will premiere on August 24.

Singer SKY-HI (Gurazeni, Gundam Build Divers) is performing the opening theme "Sarracenia" and boy band BE:FIRST performs the ending theme "Salvia." Both songs are previewed in the promotional video below.
Toshiki Hirano (Baki) returns to direct the new season at TMS Entertainment. Other returning staff includes Tatsuhiko Urahata (Muv-Luv Alternative) as series composition, Shingo Ishikawa (Baki: Dai Raitaisai-hen) as character designer, and Kenji Fujisawa (Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi) as music composer.
Hanma Baki: Son of Ogre adapts Keisuke Itagaki's sequel manga, which he launched in December 2005, following the ending of Baki: New Grappler Baki the month prior. The manga concluded in Shounen Champion in August 2012.
Itagaki then ran Baki-dou in the same magazine from March 2014 to April 2018, followed by the second part which ran from October 2018 to June 15. The 16th volume released on May 8.
