'Saikyou Tank no Meikyuu Kouryaku' Unveils Additional Cast, Staff, Theme Songs, First Promo
The official website of the Saikyou Tank no Meikyuu Kouryaku: Tairyoku 9999 no Rare Skill-mochi Tank, Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou sareru (The Strongest Tank's Labyrinth Raids: A Tank with a Rare 9999 Resistance Skill Got Kicked from the Hero's Party) television anime unveiled additional cast, staff, theme songs, key visual (pictured), and the first promotional video on Friday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on January 7 at 2:00 a.m. on ABC TV and TV Asahi's 24 affiliated stations on the ANiMAZiNG!!! programming block, followed by BS12 and AT-X.

Mitsutaka Noshitani (Tensei Kizoku no Isekai Boukenroku chief director) is helming the anime at Studio Polon. Hitomi Amemiya (Kaiko sareta Ankoku Heishi (30-dai) no Slow na Second Life) is handling the series composition, and Taihei Nagai (Shoot! Goal to the Future chief animation director) is designing the characters.
The anime adapts Ryuuta Kijima and Makoto Kisaragi's fantasy adventure manga, which began serializing in Manga UP! magazine in May 2019. The ninth volume was released on October 6, and the tenth volume is scheduled to be released on December 7. The manga is published digitally in English on Square Enix's Manga UP! website and app and on the Comikey website.
Kijima originally began writing the fantasy adventure story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in July 2018. Shufunotomo acquired the novel and published the first volume under its Hero Bunko imprint in April 2019, featuring illustrations by Sand. The fifth volume went on sale on February 25.
