'Rail Romanesque' Announces Additional Cast Members

The official website for Rail Romanesque, the television anime adaption of Lose's Maitetsu visual novel, announced additional cast members on Wednesday. The anime will air in 12 five-minute episodes beginning on October 3 at 1:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX.

Ran: Aya Uchida (Release the Spyce)
Iyo: Ai Furihata (Love Live! Sunshine!!)
Aka: Tomoyo Kurosawa (Akanesasu Shoujo)
Riiko: Yurika Kubo (Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut)
Kakaa: Mai Nagai (Nekopara)
Shirogane: Tenka Hashimoto (Saikin, Imouto no Yousu ga Chotto Okashiinda ga. live-action film)
Suika: Ayaka Igasaki (Araiya-san!: Ore to Aitsu ga Onnayu de!?)

The seven voice actresses join the previously announced Sumire Uesaka (Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo) and Aya Suzaki (Yesterday wo Utatte), who are starring as Suzushiro and Kiko, respectively.

Hisayoshi Hirasawa (Tachibanakan Triangle) is helming the anime as the chief director at Saetta, as well as the sound director. Kouichi Motomaru is handling the script, and Takayuk Noguchi (Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu) is designing the characters. Ayumi One. is composing the music, and Cloud22 is credited for sound production.

The game was originally released in March 2016 before being ported to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch as Maitetsu: Pure Station in July 2018 and January 2020, respectively. A censored version was released on Steam by Sekai Project in June 2018.
