'Under Ninja' Announces Additional Cast

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Kengo Hanazawa's Under Ninja manga announced four additional cast members on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2023 on TBS and other channels.

Satoshi Kuwahara (5-toubun no Hanayome) is helming the anime at Tezuka Productions. Keiichirou Oochi (Kumichou Musume to Sewagakari) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Nobuteru Yuuki (Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199) is designing the characters and Shouta Kowashi (Pui Pui Molcar) is composing the music.

Hanazawa began drawing the action comedy manga in Weekly Young Magazine in July 2018, approximately 1.5 years after ending the serialization of I Am a Hero. Kodansha released the tenth volume on May 8.

Denpa, LLC. licensed the manga in English in July 2020 and published the first volume on January 10. The second volume will release on August 1.
