‘Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon: Samishigariya no Ryuu’ Announces Additional Cast
The official website for the Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon: Samishigariya no Ryuu (Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to be Loved) anime movie revealed additional cast and an original illustration (pictured) drawn by Cool-kyou Shinja and character designer Miku Kadowaki to celebrate its theatrical release, which began on Friday.

Fairy Uncle: Shinya Takahashi (Saijaku Tamer wa Gomi Hiroi no Tabi wo Hajimemashita.)
Fairy Daughter: Azusa Tadokoro (Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka?)
Tatsuya Ishihara (Hibike! Euphonium) is helming the anime at Kyoto Animation. Yuka Yamada (Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita!) is penning the script and Miku Kadowaki (Tsurune) is the character designer. Lantis and Heart Company is handling music production.
Cool-kyou Shinja began drawing the slice of life fantasy manga in Monthly Action in May 2013. Futabasha published the 17th volume in June 2025. The magazine also serializes five spin-offs centering on different supporting characters, the latest of which, Ilulu wa Koi toka Wakarimasen! (Iruru Has No Clue About Love!), launched in November 2024.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English as (Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) in December 2015 and released the 15th volume in December 2024. The 16th volume went on sale on November 25. The company is also publishing the Kanna no Nichijou, Elma no OL Nikki, and Okomorigurashi no Fafnir spin-off series.
