'Dandadan' Second Season Announced for Summer 2025

The 12th and final episode of the Dandadan television anime series announced a second season and revealed a visual (pictured) on Friday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2025 on MBS and TBS' Super Animeism TURBO programming block.

Produced by Science SARU, the first season began airing on October 4. Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Hulu are simulcasting the anime with subtitles and dubs in multiple languages. GKIDS licensed the anime in North America. A movie composed of the first three episodes was released in theaters in Asia on August 31, Europe on September 7, and North America on September 13.

The anime adapts Yukinobu Tatsu's action supernatural manga manga which began Shounen Jump+ in April 2021. Shueisha published the 17th volume on November 1. The manga has a cumulative 3.2 million copies of its volumes in circulation.

VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in February 2022. The tenth volume went on sale on December 17, with the 11th volume scheduled for a February 4 release. Shueisha is also publishing the manga in English on its Manga Plus website and app.
