Light Novel 'Kanchigai no Atelier Meister' Gets TV Anime in Spring 2025
Publishing company AlphaPolis opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Yousuke Tokino's Kanchigai no Atelier Meister: Eiyuu Party no Moto Zatsuyougakari ga, Jitsu wa Sentou Igai ga SSS Rank Datta to Iu Yoku Aru Hanashi (The Unaware Atelier Master) light novel on Friday. The official website also revealed the main staff, cast, teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2025.

Tokino began penning the adventure fantasy light novel on the AlphaPolis website in August 2018. AlphaPolis published the first volume in March 2019 and released the tenth volume in August 2023. Kanchigai no Atelier Meister has a cumulative 750,000 copies of its volumes in circulation.
Naharu Furukawa began drawing a manga adaptation in AlphaPolis in Decemner 2019. The sixth volume shipped on February 29, with the seventh volume scheduled to be released on October 21.
AlphaPolis is releasing the manga digitally in English on its Alpha Manga website and app. The first and second volumes went on sale in October 2023.
Synopsis
One day, Kurt, a kind-hearted boy, is suddenly kicked out of the Hero's Party for being "useless." He finds that his aptitude for weapons, magic, and all other combat-related skills is the lowest rand, so he takes odd-jobs repairing the castle walls and digging for minerals, where his exceptional abilities are immediately revealed. He proves to be skillful in cooking, building, mining, crafting magical tools—in fact, his aptitude for every skill unrelated to combat had an SSS-ranking!
