'Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi' Reveals Supporting Cast, Opening Theme, Second Promo
The official website of the Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi (Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill) television anime revealed supporting cast members, opening theme, and the second promotional video on Monday. The anime is set to broadcast on January 11 at 12:00 a.m. on TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Setouchi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting.

Japanese band Van de Shop is performing the opening theme "Zeitaku na Saji," and Yuuma Uchida (Grand Blue) is performing the ending theme "Happy-go-Journey." Both theme songs are previewed in the promotional video below.
Kiyoshi Matsuda (Kakegurui××) is directing the television anime at MAPPA. Michiko Yokote (Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!) is handling the series composition, and Nao Ootsu (Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi) is designing the characters. Masato Kouda (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!), Kana Utatane (Mieruko-chan), and Kuricorder Quartet (Tsuritama) are composing the music.
The anime adapts Ren Eguchi's adventure fantasy light novel, began the on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2016. Overlap began publishing the series under its Overlap Novels label in November that year, featuring illustrations by Masa. The 13th volume shipped on December 25. The light novel has a cumulative 4.5 million copies of its volumes in print.
Akagishi K (Sabikui Bisco) began drawing a manga adaptation on the Comic Gardo website in March 2017. The ninth volume went on sale on December 25.
J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga adaptation in English for digital release in March 2019 and April 2020, respectively. The 12th light novel volume went on sale on November 16, and the eighth manga volume was released on June 22.
