'Egao no Taenai Shokuba desu.' Announces Additional Cast Pair
The official website of the Egao no Taenai Shokuba desu. (A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace) television anime revealed a pair of additional cast members and a second key visual (pictured) on Thursday. The anime series adapting Kuzushiro's comedy workplace manga will premiere on October 6 at 10:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX, BS Asahi, and AT-X, followed by Iwate Menkoi TV.
Voice actresses Saori Hayami (Spy x Family) and Sumire Uesaka (Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san) are joining the cast as Yuzuki Hazama and Nagomi Hayachine, respectively.
Kaoru Suzuki (Doukyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki, Atama no Ue.) is directing the anime at Voil. Mio Inoue (Slow Start) is handling the series composition, and Kana Miyai (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto sub-character design) is designing the characters. Kei Haneoka (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai) and Hironori Doi are composing the music.
Kuzushiro (Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san) originally published the manga as a one-shot in Kiss in February 2019 before beginning regular serialization on the Comic Days app and website in May that year. Kodansha published the 12th volume on April 18, with the 13th volume scheduled to be released on September 19.
