Manga 'Debu to Love to Ayamachi to!' Gets TV Anime

Television channel Tokyo MX announced a television anime adaptation of Mamakari's Debu to Love to Ayamachi to! (Plus-sized Misadventures in Love!) manga on Friday and showed a character design visual (pictured above).

Mamakari began serializing the romantic comedy manga in Koisuru Soirée magazine in August 2019. Solmare Henshuubu shipped the seventh volume on February 3. The publisher also publishes the manga in English through the MangaPlaza website.

Synopsis
"This is the punishment for a fat, ugly girl like me falling in love with someone as beautiful as you..." Yumeko had a mountain of complexes about herself. Then, a terrible accident befalls her. Though somehow saved from the brink of death, Yumeko wakes up a completely different person. "This is...me...?! I'm SO cute!!"
