'ChaO' Unveils Main Cast, Additional Staff, Teaser Trailer for August 2025
An official website opened for the ChaO original anime movie on Wednesday, revealing the main cast, music composer, teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser trailer. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on August 15.
Actors Ouji Suzuka (Natsu e no Tunnel, Sayonara no Deguchi) and Anna Yamada are starring as Stephen and Chao, respectively. Takatsugu Muramatsu (Omoide no Marnie) is composing the music.
Yasuhiro Aoki (Batman: Gotham Knight episode director) is helming the anime at Studio 4°C and Hirokazu Kojima (Deadman Wonderland) is designing the characters.
