'Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu' Franchise Gets New Anime Series

The official website of the Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu franchise has opened a teaser page and announced that a new anime series titled Happy Kiss! is in production. Shinji Takamatsu, who directed the previous anime series in the franchise, will return to direct the new anime at Studio Comet.

Created by Kurari Umatani, Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu received its first anime series in Winter 2015 by Diomedea. Studio Comet produced a second season in Summer 2016 and an OVA episode that screened in theaters in August 2017. Ponycan USA licensed the anime series for North American distribution and released the first season in Blu-ray and DVD combo packs between August and November in 2015.
