Manga 'Ragna Crimson' Gets TV Anime for 2023

The official Twitter of Monthly Gangan Joker magazine announced a television anime adaptation of Daiki Kobayashi's Ragna Crimson manga on Saturday. The anime series is scheduled to premiere in 2023.

Kobayashi began serializing the action fantasy manga in Monthly Gangan Joker in March 2017. Square Enix shipped the ninth volume on August 20, with the tenth volume scheduled for release on March 22. The publisher also licensed the manga in English under its Manga & Books imprint in November 2019 and shipped the fourth volume on January 4. The fifth volume is scheduled to go on sale on April 12.

Synopsis
In a world where dragons rule sky, sea, and land, those who would fight them and win must surpass the limits of normal human strength. Set on victory at any cost, dragon hunter Ragna joins forces with the mysterious Crimson. Crimson's motivations may be obscure, but their goal is the same: to destroy the dragon monarchs.
