'Ooyukiumi no Kaina' Unveils Cast, Additional Staff, Second Teaser Promo

The official website for the Ooyukiumi no Kaina (Kaina of the Great Snow Sea) original television anime revealed on Wednesday the main cast, music staff, a second teaser visual (pictured), and a second teaser promotional video. The anime series will premiere on Fuji TV's +Ultra programming block in January 2023.

Hiroyuki Sawano (Shingeki no Kyojin) composed the main theme of the anime. Kohta Yamamoto (86) and Misaki Umase (Tenki no Ko insert song composition) are composing the music.

Hiroaki Andou (Ajin) is directing the fantasy anime at Polygon Pictures. Sadayuki Murai (Sabikui Bisco) is handling the series composition and is penning the script with Tetsuya Yamada (Sidonia no Kishi). The television anime celebrates the animation studio's 40th anniversary.
