'Okinawa de Suki ni Natta Ko ga Hougen Sugite Tsurasugiru' Reveals Supporting Cast, Second Promo

The official website for the television anime adapting Egumi Sora's Okinawa de Suki ni Natta Ko ga Hougen Sugite Tsurasugiru (The Okinawan Girl I Love Has an Unbearable Dialect!) manga revealed four additional cast and a second promotional video (pictured) on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on Tokyo MX, BS11, Okinawa Television, Ryukyu Broadcasting, Ryukyu Asahi Broadcasting, and other stations in January 2025.

Tetsu Higa: Yamato Kinjou (Yu☆Gi☆Oh! Arc-V)
Suzu Higa: Miyuri Shimabukuro (Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai)
Naoya Higa: Risa Tsumugi (BanG Dream! 2nd Season)
Sachiko Kyan: Yuuko Gibu (Aoi Hana)

Shingo Tanabe (Isekai de Cheat Skill wo Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai wo mo Musou Suru) is directing and handling the series composition at Millepensee, with chief director Shin Itagaki (Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?).

Tomohiro Yoshida (Wake Up, Girls! Shin Shou sub-character design) is designing the characters. Tomohisa Ishikawa (Super Cub), Yoshimi Katayama, and Ayano Kinjou are composing the music.

Sora began serializing the romantic comedy manga in Kurage Bunch in January 2020. Shinchosha shipped the eighth volume in February 2024.
