'Hibi wa Sugiredo Meshi Umashi' Reveals Main Cast, Staff, Opening Theme, First Promo for Spring 2025

The official website for the Hibi wa Sugiredo Meshi Umashi television anime revealed the main cast, staff, opening theme, key visual (pictured), and promotional video on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 13 at 12:30 a.m. on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, and BS11, followed by Me-Tele, ABC TV, and AT-X.

Singer-songwriter asmi (Urusei Yatsura (2022), Pokemon (2023)) is performing the opening theme "Sonna Mon ne" which is previewed in the promotional video below.

Atto (Non Non Biyori) is credited for character & story concept. Shinya Kawatsura (Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge) and Tohru Harumi (5-toubun no Hanayome Movie assistant director) are directing the anime at P.A. Works. Yoshihiro Hiki (Akiba Meido Sensou) is handling the series composition and Hajime Mitsuda (Akiba's Trip The Animation) is designing the characters. Hiromi Mizutani (Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun) is composing the music.

A manga adaptation by Quro (Koisuru Asteroid) will begin serialization on Kadokawa's Alive+ website in 2025.
